macOS menu-bar utility
One-shot presets for text you already rewrite.
Save a provider, model, and instructions as a preset. Call it from a shortcut. Paste the result back. Built for people who live in API playgrounds, issues, and docs, not another chat window.

How it works
-
1
Open the panel
Default shortcut ⌃⌥↩. Paste or type only the text you want changed. Pressto never reads your pasteboard.
-
2
Run a preset
Each preset is name + provider + model + instructions. Switch with the menu or ⌘1–9. Return runs it.
-
3
Paste the result
If the output changed the text, it is copied. You paste it where you were working.
What people use it for
- Prompt cleanup before the playground Rewrite a rough ask so it follows public prompting practices for Claude or GPT, then paste into the model you already use.
- GitHub issues and PRs Format notes into a consistent issue body, PR description, or release notes before you post.
- Everyday prose Fix typos, shorten email, shift tone. Point those presets at a fast host when you want the answer back immediately.
Bundled packs
Add packs from File → Add from Pack…. Configuration only; API keys never ship in a pack. Provider-oriented packs follow public prompting docs and are not affiliated with those vendors.
- Prompt for ClaudeStructure, examples, and clarity for Claude-style prompts.
- Prompt for OpenAIInstructions first, sections, and explicit output for GPT-class models.
- GitHubIssue bodies, PR descriptions, release notes.
- WritingTone, simplify, expand, soften.
- PromptsGeneric structure, constraints, output specs.
- TranslateOne-shot translation to common languages.
Speed when you need it. Depth when it matters.
Fast path. Point a preset at Groq or Cerebras for near-instant everyday transforms: fire the shortcut, get the result, paste, move on.
Careful path. The same loop works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint when the job is harder and can take longer. Optional On Device on supported Macs.
Privacy by behavior
No account. No Pressto server in the middle. Cloud presets send text and instructions straight from your Mac to the provider you chose. Keys stay in Keychain. Panel text is not saved. Full privacy disclosure
